Tangible Music Club #10 RICKPO+ OGDL

Rickpo (ES) is an artist and musician. With a background in classical music, a Master’s thesis on chiptunes, and deep roots in internet subcultures, he cultivates an emotionally driven sonic universe that is in constant development.
His style fuses hyperpop aesthetics with experimental bass and early video game music. Currently based at the Tangible Music Lab (Kunstuniversität Linz), Rickpo aims to build custom musical instruments that translate these virtual influences into physical realities.
For this performance, Rickpo presents a live set of original songs, accompanied by his latest prototype instruments.

OGDL began as a musical collective with members from diverse backgrounds, performing in constantly evolving constellations of players, but gradually crystallised as a duo of Ozan Tezvaran and Gundega Graudiņa. Ozan’s flair for deconstructed club music and visual communication and Gundega’s path as a classical guitarist turned experimental musician complement each other in surprising ways.
Drawing inspiration from postdigital lutherie, OGDL combines traditional musical instruments and voice with digital and analogue technologies. Their concerts are often held in unusual places – from zoos to churches – and blend lullabies, screams, sad pop tunes with an oomph, tape loops, field recordings, feedback, and layered string textures.
