
Tangible Music Lab Guest Lecture: Krzysztof Cybulski

Krzysztof Cybulski (*1980) is a musician, sound artist, and inventor of new media installations and musical instruments. His work blends analog, digital, acoustic, and mechanical elements in a post-digital approach, often reviving obsolete technologies to create surprising combinations.
He holds a PhD (with distinction) in composition, sound engineering, and music performance from the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. His work has earned international recognition, including 2nd prize at the 2020 Margaret Guthman Musical Instruments Competition and an honorary mention at the 2017 Prix Ars Electronica.
Cybulski has presented at events like Ars Electronica Festival, Athens Digital Art Festival, and Warsaw Autumn Festival. He is a co-founder of the acclaimed new media art collective panGenerator and teaches at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
